Tamil Ministry
We really want to thank almighty God for enabling us to do his mission thus far. . The Sunday worship service goes on well from 7-30 A.M. to 10 A.M on Sundays. Nearly 55 to 60 members are regular comers. 5 to 10 members are irregular due to practical difficulties. The Holy Communion service is being observed on third Sunday of every month led by the vicar.
By God’s grace, we are able to conduct the Sunday service, Bible lessons, Ladies meeting, youth meeting, Sunday school, fasting prayer, cottage prayer, outreach work, family retreat, Sunday school teachers meet etc.,
Chennai Tyrannus Hall
CTH is a "home away from home" for Christian college students (boys). CTH provides accommodation and holistic care for the students undergoing different courses in Chennai.
CTH functions under the Education Board of St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India, with the active support of the Madras Parish. CTH provides for the overall personality development of the students through its excellent facilities and enlightening activities (mentoring, evening devotions, special talks, seminars, retreats etc.). The accommodation in CTH is provided for students who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour irrespective of their denominations and language.
Urban Mission
One of the foundational goals of our church is evangelization of India. The church has been involved in the same at multiple levels like HBM, State Missions, and other mission activities in Kerala. The need for our parishes in cities to reach out to the people in own cities was felt in the last few years. This was discussed at multiple levels in Bahya Kerala Diocese and BKD General Assembly held in Dondi decided to encourage all its parishes to actively involve in the same
