Our Activities
Sunday Worship Service
Sunday Services are conducted at 9:00 am. Malayalam & English Holy Communion services are held on the second & fourth Sunday of every month. Every third Sunday is dedicated for prayer, specific prayer points are shared and two or three individuals sit together in one spirit & intercede for the needs. Fourth Sunday service led by the youths of this parish, conducted in English.
Prayer cell & Fasting prayer
Special prayer meetings are held on every Friday at 7:00 pm. We share the concerns and intercede for every need which is brought to the Prayer cell. We also take this time especially to intercede for sick ones. Quarterly fasting prayer meetings are held in three quarters from 9 pm -12 pm. Those who have any specific prayer concerns may approach us steci.chennai@gmail.com If there is a need to have a one to one prayer session online, we are available.
Cottage Prayer meetings
Cottage Prayer meeting is the spiritual backbone of the parish. These meetings are conducted on Saturday’s at 6.30 pm at the residence of the members. Saturday prayer meetings were a time of family fellowship as well as a time to intercede for one another. (time to share testimony is given to family members during these cottage prayer meetings)
Sevinee Samajam
The sevinee samajam is one of the active wings of the church. Sevinee Samajam upholds the motto of worship, study, witness and service.
The Sevinee Samajam members come together every Tuesday morning for the ladies fasting prayer meeting and Bible study at 10.00 am. It is a time for learning the Bible, sharing testimonies, interceding for each other and praying for various needs. Many of our sisters sacrifice their time & come for this meeting which is a pillar of strength for the parish.
Sunday School
“Everyone who heard this wondered about it asking “what then is this child going to be?” For the Lord was with Him. Luke 1:66. Each child is the precious gift from God. As a church it is one’s duty to bring up each child in the Christian faith. It is with this aim that the Sunday school of our church functions.
Youths Union
Youths’ union actively participates in all activities. Youths meet once a month on Sunday after worship service. Programmes like Bible study, group discussion are held.
English service on fourth Sunday was conducted by the youths under the guidance of our Vicar.
Sunday School and Youths Camp
Every year we conduct sunday school and youth camp. All our children could experience the Love of Christ through the bible study sessions, Counseling, beautiful songs, stories and other programs conducted during the camp. The youths are greatly benefited by the quality interactions and discussions during the open house sessions.
