College campuses which produce future leaders of the country are going through different forms of vulnerabilities and intolerance. The politicalisation of universities, stressed academic environment, dominance of social media, influence of alcohol and drugs, relationship issues etc. makes the life of students miserable. Believing students coming from good Christian families and spiritual background also seems to have many times turned away when they were exposed to the new world around them. In this context, CTH facilitates to protect them and ensure producing Christ-like leaders with holistic development.

• To provide an environment congenial for the all round development of the student that shapes them into mature and exemplary disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

• To promote awareness among students about their responsibilities towards the Church and its Mission

Focus on Civil Services:

​

In addition to the regular arts and science courses, CTH also receives students who are preparing themselves for professional courses such as Chartered Accountancy, Media and Civil Services. CTH gives special focus for civil service preparation to produce godly leaders who would serve the nation with integrity and boldness. Chennai being one of the leading coaching places in the country for civil services, has many of the leading coaching centers. Many such centers are situated in Anna Nagar, walkable distance from CTH. Let the tribes of Josephs and Daniels increase…

• 3-bedded rooms, with a cot, mattress and study table for each resident

• Adequate and hygienic toilet facilities for each room

• A common dining hall with kitchen facilities

When our son, Nikhil Elisha opted to pursue his BE in Chennai, we as parents were worried about his stay.  One of our friends recommended CTH. Yes, this was the right place to spend his four precious years.  Our son got admission into the hostel. The discipline, daily devotions, love, care and concern all put together helped our son to grow into a well matured Christian. The fun, food and fellowship were thoroughly enjoyed.  Time flew and our son successfully completed his studies in Chennai.
